Patchouli

Spicy, smoky, sultry—the fragrance of Patchouli is decidedly more sensual than the scents of its nearest botanical relatives, Lavender, Mint, Rosemary and Sage. The aroma has been used for centuries as a natural antidepressant and aphrodisiac, improving one’s mood and stimulating libido. We honor the history of this exotic essence by working with family-run farms located in the lush, green hills of Sri Lanka. Our patchouli plants are hand-picked in the early morning when the volatile oils are at their peak and harvested only during the wet season, for maximum production per plant. This reduces the overall annual yield, but produces a superior oil while preserving the fertility of the growing fields.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a spice held in the highest regard for its powerful medicinal qualities as well its aphrodisiac power. Cinnamon also has anti-inflammatory properties, and can help normalize blood sugar, circulation and digestion. We work with growers who allow the trees to mature for up to three years before harvesting, to protect the integrity of the grove. The bark is loosened in long rolls, versus cutting down the tree, while the inner bark is still wet. This produces an exquisitely fragrant and bioactive Cinnamon harvest. Enjoy the warming sensation of this exotic spice in the comfort of your shower.
